3 dead, 2
injured after speeding truck rams into them in Delhi
On Monday three person died
and two were injured in north delhi ,said by the people the truck hit them.the
victims were part of crowd that gathered on the road for accident between a car
and auto riksha .
The people identified as
chander a redident of new seelempur whos age was 53 , zahid hussain whos age
was 40 and third person was Jamil Ahmed age os 45 resident of Shastri park
area. As per the record Danish and Mehraj both aged 26 and recident of Seelmpur
, received a serious injuries but were discharged from hospital .
DCP AK Thankur of north district
said that "While the deceased and injured were talking with some locals
about the auto-rickshaw accident, a speeding truck came and hit them. With the
impact of accident, all the three died on the spot, while Danish and Mehraj
were admitted to nearby hospital from where they were later discharged".
The person who were watching caught and hold
that person called manohar and handed him to police station. With the relevant
section of accident of IPC was registered on him at the Shastri Park Police
station. "During investigation, police team arrested the accused driver,
Manohar Lal, a resident of Najafgarh. He was found inebriated at the time of
accident. He was going to a cold drink factory in Ghaziabad in truck loaded
with empty cold drink bottles," The DCP added.
