City starts faces drought problem on food grains as well
AURANGABAD ,MARCH 12
Jadhavwadi is a place were the market is there of food grains and in this summer Jadhavwadi is nearly deserted due to draught. From past year servay ,every year during march the market use to be full with thousand of quality crops that too arriving daily but this year the crops have been very less. And this year a very less amount of wheat ,jowar, chana is arriving that will also be finished but what about others.
The commission agents are have said to bring food grains from other states for sell . In this march every one rural and urban people will fight for the food grains. Every time rural sometime faced suh [problem but this time urban people will also face this problem. Every year in march thousands of quinatals if agriculture produce of the crops were auctioned on daily bases but the quantity has be affected by the drought .This time 50 to 60 sacks of new wheat and jowar is arriving daily along with 10 to 12 sacks of chana. The main problem arrives in Maharashtra was water scarcity and due to which fro, 30 Years wheat sowing has decreased in Aurangabad as wheat requires lots of water .And with continous drought problem farmers have moved to other crops and hence farmers preferred jowar which required very less amount of water compared to wheat Said by adat vyapari sanghatana presendet kanhaiyalal jaiswal.
But this 2018-19 have been a huge problem for the farmers this time due to very less water jowar is not sown much .Many farmers have taken risk of wheat and jowar but have faced very less production and hence are in loss .This time in survey came that it was a good temperature which was helpfull for wheat but it not happened as there was no water
